Our daughter , Ada was born in 2020 with CMN. Within weeks of her birth, I spoke to another parent with a child with CMN and learned about Caring Matters Now. We have been involved ever since. In 2022 ,I became a Regional Contact for the charity and I am so proud to help many in the East Anglia Region.
Last year, we combined Ada’s 4th birthday celebrations with holding a Coffee and Cake event for Caring Matters Now ,raising £1420 for the charity. It was such a wonderful fun – filled day enjoyed by everyone. Ada is becoming more aware that she has a unique difference to others, so ,it was also an opportunity for Ada’s schoolfriends and their parents, teachers, our friends, and family to learn more about CMN so that they have a better understanding of Ada’s condition.
Our family are truly grateful to all who came along and for all the donations. It is really important to our family to raise awareness of CMN and give to Caring Matters Now. We are really thankful for the continued support that we receive from the charity and also for their funding of the ongoing research towards finding more effective treatments.
