Since 1997, Caring Matters Now has been supporting children, adults and families affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevus (CMN). Today, we stand at a pivotal moment.

We are supporting over 900 families, across the UK and beyond, walking alongside them through their CMN journey. But as our community grows, so does the need, and we cannot do this alone. We are inviting organisations to partner with us, not simply as donors, but as long-term partners in creating lasting change.

Caring Matters Now is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting anyone affected by CMN.

Our work is life-changing, and your partnership will help us to:

  • Ensure every family affected by CMN feels seen, supported and understood.
  • Provide specialist support, including critical care and bereavement support.
  • Fund and accelerate pioneering research, including the development of effective treatments.
  • Educate medical professionals, schools and communities, reducing misdiagnosis and isolation.
  • Grow awareness so that families no longer hear: “I’ve never seen this before”.

Alongside this growth, we have identified a £150,000 annual funding gap to deliver our 5-year strategy.
