Caring Matters Now (CMN) is proud to announce Siobhan Lawrence and Dexter Lawrence, directors of DL Accounts, as the winners of the 2025 Jessica Ma Award.
The Jessica Ma Award recognises outstanding individuals who show exceptional commitment to fundraising for Caring Matters Now, to support people affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevus (CMN). In 2025, Siobhan and Dexter also became Caring Matters Now’s newest corporate charity partners, marking the beginning of an inspiring and impactful collaboration.
Going the Extra Mile for CMN Awareness
Throughout 2025, Siobhan and Dexter went above and beyond in their fundraising efforts for Caring Matters Now. Together, they completed four half-marathons, followed by the extraordinary challenge of the New York City Marathon.
Driven by a deeply personal connection to CMN (Congenital Melanocytic Naevus), their determination and passion helped raise an incredible £10,000 for the charity. Their incredible fundraising efforts reflect the charity’s powerful commitment to improving understanding, awareness, and support for individuals and families living with CMN.
How DL Accounts’ £10,000 Donation Will Be Used
Caring Matters Now will use this generous donation to support key education and awareness initiatives aimed at healthcare professionals across the UK. In 2026, the charity plans to attend the following major medical conferences:
- British Association of Dermatologists Conference
- BDNG Conference
- Royal College of Midwives Conference
In addition to these events, Caring Matters Now is actively seeking speaking opportunities across NHS trusts throughout 2026. This work is vital to improve professional understanding of Congenital Melanocytic Naevus, ensuring earlier recognition, better support, and improved care for those affected by CMN within the healthcare system.
About the Jessica Ma Award
The Jessica Ma Award was established in memory of Jessica Ma, a former trustee of the charity who was a passionate advocate for individuals living with CMN. The annual award celebrates those who demonstrate outstanding fundraising efforts for Caring Matters Now and highlights the powerful impact their fundraising makes to members of the CMN community.
Looking Ahead
Caring Matters Now is incredibly excited to continue working with DL Accounts as a corporate charity partner. Together, we look forward to future fundraising campaigns, awareness-raising initiatives, and collaborative projects that will support families affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevus and promote understanding of this rare condition.
We extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to Siobhan Lawrence and Dexter Lawrence, the well-deserving 2025 Jessica Ma Award winners.
