Stepping up for CMN - Caring Matters Now

As 2020 comes to an end, we all need something positive to focus our attention on for 2021, so why not sign up to our ‘Stepping up for CMN’ challenge? You will not only make 2021 a year to remember, but you will also be supporting the work of Caring Matters Now by raising vital funds to continue our work. It’s a win-win challenge for everyone!

How it works

1. Decide what monthly challenge you will do

You choose your monthly challenge throughout 2021. You could walk, run, swim, cycle, climb… there are no limits! You choose what challenge you want to do and the distance you want to achieve each month… For example, you could run 10, 20 or 30 miles every month of the year. Or you may choose to run 20 miles in January, swim 20 miles in February, cycle 20 miles in March, and so on…

2. Register your monthly challenge

Register your challenge here. You will receive email confirmation from us including lots of helpful tips to get you underway.

3. Complete your monthly challenge

Challenges begin each calendar month, and once you’re registered, you’ll have the whole month to cover your chosen distance in however many runs, walks, swims or cycles you like. Once completed, you will receive your monthly ‘Stepping up for CMN’ certificate as a reward for all your hard work and dedication.

4. Submit your evidence

At the end of the month, you’ll receive an email from us asking whether or not you completed your challenge. You’ll have to submit your evidence to us as proof of your achievement. You can simply take a screenshot of tracking apps, photos of your smart watch records or a spreadsheet with your results will be accepted.

5. Get your monthly certificate

Once your evidence has been verified, you will receive your ‘Stepping up for CMN’ monthly certificate through the post. Should you complete a challenge every month throughout 2021, you will receive our 2021 ‘Stepping up for CMN’ medal – something only achievable for a being a 12-challenge champion. Well done!
