This year, the North West and North Wales gathering was at Formby National Trust, where we got to have a picnic lunch, walk around the famous pinewoods- den building and completing a nature scavenger hunt, and to top a fantastic day off, we had had an ice cream from the van at the end! Thankfully, the weather was perfect and the children played together brilliantly, giving time for the families to introduce themselves to each other and have a good natter! It was a lovely day and one where we made some great memories and new friends.
Next year, we are planning to join forces and do a joint gathering of our two areas at the family adventure park ‘BeWILDerwood’ in Whitchurch, Cheshire, as this is a central point and there is something for everyone there! It would be fantastic to see you there to create memories, get outdoors, get crafting and make new friends and meet up with current ones.
