How to become a Caring Matters Now Young Ambassador?

The Young Ambassadors Programme consists of two phases:

Level One Award

Young people affected by CMN are to register and complete level one in school years 7-12. All tasks must be completed by the time you finish year 12.

You will work towards completing the following task list, which complements the charity’s three main aims; Support, Awareness and Research.

Tasks to complete:

  • Year 7 – Attend an Online Teens Resource Workshop and write your own Personal Story
  • Year 8 – Hold a fundraising event
  • Year 9 – Participate in media and communication training
  • Year 10 – Participate in Caring Matters Now research projects
  • Year 11 – Participate in teens challenge
  • Year 12 – Review your Personal Story

An ongoing responsibility throughout the programme includes the opportunity to be a young leader at a CMN support event.

Level Two Award

Once you have completed level one, you will have the unique opportunity to register for level two; completing the prestigious Dale Carnegie Course. Designed to equip you with the communication and human relation skills required to be successful in any setting, this world famous programme of self-development helps the leaders of tomorrow leverage their skills so they can strengthen relationships between colleagues, solve problems, create collaborative cultures, boost morale and motivation within teams, and ultimately deliver outstanding results in any area of concentration. More information can be seen here.

Places on the Dale Carnegie Course will be free of charge for any teenager who has completed level one of the Young Ambassadors Programme (worth £2250+VAT). To undertake level two, you must be Year 12 or over.
