Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge – 20 May 2017

Val Unsworth, fellow founder of Caring Matters Now (Jodi’s mum), wanted to do something special to celebrate our charity’s 20th anniversary in 2017.

Being so involved since the very beginning Val has seen the successful developments of Caring Matters Now and wants to celebrate this huge milestone. You can hear Val’s story here.

So, to mark this memorable event, Val is participating in the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge on 20th May to raise funds for the charity.

This would be a great opportunity to join Val in marking this milestone and being part of a CMN Team Challenge! Its an open challenge so anyone can join… lets celebrate our 20th anniversary and raise much needed funds to further CMN research.

Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge – 20/05/2017

Take on the beautiful major 3 peaks of the Yorkshire dales in 1 day! With over 5000ft of climbing and 24.5miles you will tackle, Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all within 12hours.

You will be fully supported by our team throughout the event.

You will be walking long side our own in house walking guides from “Pure Challenge”

The starting point for the event is Horton-in-Ribblesdale (BD24 0HE)

The event will include:

  • “Pure Challenge” Event Caps
  • Event certificate
  • Event Photographs
  • “Pure Challenge” walking guides
  • Assistance on hand through-out
  • First round of drinks at the finish line FREE

This is a fantastic training event for any of our 100k trek events, or equally a fantastic challenge for any keen walker / hiker.
