London – Sat 26th June 2010

What a fantastic day was had by all that attended. This was the first CMN Family Day to be held in the capital and we were unsure as to how many people would attend. The trustees and I were bowled over with the number of families that did make it, some families that have been members of the support group for many years but had not made it to a previous family day events, and many new families.

The venue was fantastic, activities included a kids entertainer, who was brilliant and provided a great deal of fun for the younger ones. We also had arts and crafts, face painting, soft play equipment, wonderful buffet and a very interesting presentation by the trustees and Dr Kinsler.

The feedback was positive and all seemed to enjoy the day, making new friends and sharing stories and experiences. We hope that you all felt very welcome and comfortable.

A huge thank you to everyone who did attend, especially the new families for making thet step into the unknown. I would personally like to say a big thank you to my friends who travelled down to London for the day and helped with running the activities on the day and set up and clear up.

Thank you to everyone for attending, to the trustees, and Dr Kinsler for their hard work and dedication.
