Cake Bake Sale (All Years) and Business Enterprise Event (Year 6).

On 6th December 2013, Blackheath High School (Juniors) held a Cake Bake sale for all years and year 6 were divided into groups and each group was given £10 for materials. From the materials they bought, they made keyrings, jewellry and note books to sell. They returned the £10 and made a profit raising money for Caring Matters Now and learning valuable business skills.

On 4th December an assembly was held to raise awareness of CMN’s and the issues that CMN children can face. Jasmin in year 3, aged 7 has a CMN on her right cheek and nose and has had 5 lots of surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Jasmin has given talks to her year group about CMN and distributed CMN material to her classmates and teachers.

Jasmin enjoyed making the chocolate crispy cakes for the cake sale with her brother Alex and is very proud of herself and her school for raising so much money.
All of Jasmin’s friends and family are very proud of her too.

Jasmin wants to be a paediatric plastic surgeon so she can help other children with CMN.
