Thanks again for a wonderful weekend. Josh was feeling very shy and out of his depth prior, but this weekend had brought him out of himself and he is much more confident with school etc. I believe that the activity weekend does more than meets the eyeTurner Family

These last two family activity events have had such a positive impact on our family. It was great to meet other families who have a child with CMN and to share experiences. The activity weekend also gave Maddie the opportunity to make great friendships and relate to other children with CMN. Being with others with CMN is really positive for our childrenValleekanthan Family

I am probably repeating myself from last year but I feel really strongly that 2 year is too long a gap if the children are too build relationships with each other. If for whatever reason you couldn’t make one year it would then be a 4 year gap. I have been really moved this year by the support Elspeth has received from talking about her CMN with other children her own age. Since returning home she has been really proud and talked a lot about those new friendships.

Thank you for all the thought that must have gone into sorting out the activity groups – it worked for Elspeth being with 2 other girls of similar age – MAGIC!

We preferred this location to last year and the idea of all members in our group being in the same accommodation block was nice.

It was nice to meet up with old friends and lovely to meet new people. There was a nice mix of families. The children seemed to pick up friendships where they had left them at last year’s event. Thank you for organising “

The facilities for parents to sit and relax together were far better at this site. THANK YOU for all your hard work in the planning and organisation of the weekend. A huge success!
