CMN Family Days
The CMN support group hold family days across the UK throughout the year. The aims of the family days are to:
- Give one-to-one support to CMN sufferers and their families
- Give medical advice to CMN sufferers and their families
- Give an opportunity for CMN members to meet and develop friendships
The family days are very well attended and all who attend feel welcome and find the days very beneficial. The days are always informal and child friendly, with art and crafts, games, bouncy castles, a light buffet and refreshments.

CMN Family day review
16th September 2007 - Liverpool Marriot Hotel South
The family day was very well attended, with 18 families, Dr Atherton (CMN skin specialist) and the CMN team.
At the family day there was lots going on… craft activities, toys, a bouncy castle, a light buffet, refreshments and the Marriott Hotel allowed the families to enjoy the experience of the hotel's airplane simulator!
The CMN team gave a short presentation on the support group's progress over the past 6 months and Dr Atherton gave an up-date on the latest medical research findings.
Children from the support group organised a 'name the teddy' competition and also sold handmade crafts, to raise money for the CMN medical research. The CMN team also organised a raffle, in which the funds also went towards the CMN medical research.
