What an amazing night had by all that attended the first ever CMN Charity Dinner Dance on 20th September 2014 at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane, London.
The support we received from small corporates for this event was remarkable and the event could not have happened without such generosity.
The very talented YPL events arrived to the hotel at 8am on the morning of the event to start setting up the stage, sound, screens and lighting. Dave and his team did a fantastic job in setting a beautiful atmosphere for the event. The table decorations looked amazing, with thanks to Jane the Florist for her stunning flower arrangements and 7media and The Printworks for their professionalism in designing and printing the materials, from the invitations, tickets to the guest brochures, menus and chocolate boxes.
The evening kicked off at 7pm with reception drinks and canapés overlooking Hyde Park. Then followed a divine dinner, hosted by the most talented Brendan Cole, Professional Dancer, Choreographer and Entertainer, who features on Strictly Come Dancing and Jodi Whitehouse, the CEO of Caring Matters Now. Live entertainment during the meal was provided by the beautiful singer songwriter Samantha Whate. This was followed by the best ever-seen auctioneer Bob Huyton who, along with his lovely wife, provided a great deal of entertainment as well as raising a substantial amount of money from the guests on the night.
After the excitement of the auctioneer, we wondered how the band could follow…..but they did and Up & Atom had everyone in the room rocking until midnight struck!
